INVESTMENT AND DEVELOPMENT
Steiniger Real Estate is a San Diego based real estate firm focused on development of multifamily & mixed-use urban infill projects. SRE sources, underwrites, and sponsors development opportunities in core San Diego sub-markets relying upon its decades of experience in the local development and construction industry. SRE utilizes project specific development strategies and deal structure to maximize cash flow, equity return, and tax benefits for its GP partners and investors.
CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
SRE provides 3rd party construction management services to property owners and capital groups with a specific focus on custom residential homes and small scale multifamily properties. Over the past 10 years, SRE has managed a variety of projects including renovations of common area spaces for condo associations, custom home additions & renovations, and ground up ADUs & guest houses.
Ben Steiniger
PRINCIPAL
With over 20 years of experience in development and construction in San Diego and southern California, Ben leads all facets of SRE’s development and construction management operations. Prior to founding SRE, Ben worked for national institutional development and construction firms, including KB Home, Hunt Companies, and Moss & Associates. Ben’s work with these firms entailed development and construction of residential projects totaling over $1.5 Billion in value with a primary focus on residential and mixed-use multifamily market sectors.
Ben holds a bachelors degree in Economics from Emory University and is a California Licensed General Contractor.
